North End Organic Nursery (NEON) and City of Good are turning up the heat at Salsa Fest, a lively community celebration of local food, homegrown creativity, and neighbors coming together to enjoy the taste of the season while raising funds to support City of Good’s mission to distribute local food to those who need it most.

Salsa Fest will take place Thursday, September 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at North End Organic Nursery, 3777 W. Chinden Blvd. in Garden City. Admission is $5, a direct donation to City of Good.

The annual festival invites salsa lovers to enjoy a wide variety of flavors from professional salsa makers and invites enthusiastic home cooks to share their best recipes in a friendly competition. The evening will also feature food trucks, beverages, live music, a bounce house, and activities for the whole family. Local beer, wine, and NA beverages will be available with all proceeds going to City of Good.
