Passport Adventure Program Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the updated Garden City Mardi Gras Passport Adventure Program! We are excited to have you participate in this vibrant community event. Please review the revised terms and conditions, which now include an important update regarding eligibility.

Eligibility
     a. The program is open to all individuals aged 18 and over. Please note that winners must be 21 or older to accept certain prizes, such as wine bottles. You must also be 18 or older to enter the contest.

Program Duration
     a. The Passport Adventure Program runs from February 17 to March 17, 2024.

Participation
     a. Participants must collect stamps from participating local businesses between March 1st and March 16th, 2024.
     b. Completed passports must be submitted by 5 p.m. on March 17th, 2024, to qualify for the prize drawings.

Passport Submission
     a. Passports can be submitted at the Mardi Gras in March Block Party on March 16th or at the Riverside Hotel Information Desk until 5 pm on March 17th, 2024.
     b. Late submissions will not be eligible for any prize drawing.

Prizes and Drawings
     a. Main Drawing at the Block Party (March 16th):
          • A prize drawing during the Mardi Gras in March Block Party on March 16th will be conducted.
          • This drawing will include all completed passports submitted by participants.
          • To qualify for the main prize drawing, participants must collect five stamps in a row on their passports.
     b. Last Chance Drawing
          • After the main drawing at the Mardi Gras in March Block Party, any remaining entries, including those not fully completed, will be eligible for a ‘last chance’ drawing.
          • This drawing also includes entries submitted at the Riverside Hotel Front Desk until the deadline of 5 p.m. on March 17th.
          • The ‘last chance’ drawing gives participants another opportunity to win prizes, recognizing the efforts of all participating in the program.

Data Usage and Privacy
     a. Contact information will be used solely for updates on future events, program communication, and to share local event information with participants. The Garden City Visitors Bureau (GCVB) and the Riverside Hotel may add your contact information to their distribution lists.
      b. Personal data will not be sold or shared with any third parties beyond the GCVB and the Riverside Hotel and only as necessary for program administration and communication of related local events.
     c. Participants consent to collecting and using their personal information, including a newsletter subscription and receipt of updates from the GCVB and the Riverside Hotel.
     d. If you wish to opt out of receiving these updates or being part of the distribution list, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

Promotional Activities
     a. Participants may be featured in promotional activities, including social media posts and community engagement events.
     b. By participating, you grant permission for your image and likeness to be used for these purposes.

Liability
     a. The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, damage, or loss of property that may occur during participation in the program.

Program Changes and Cancellations
     a. The organizers reserve the right to modify terms and conditions and prizes or cancel the program without prior notice.

Compliance with Laws
     a. Participants agree to comply with all local laws and regulations during the program.

Disputes
     a. Disputes related to the program will be resolved by the program organizers, whose decision shall be final.
