Boise Ecstatic Dance is super excited to welcome our next feature guest – DJ Panther Heart!
DJ Panther Heart creates dance floors that feel primal and psychedelic and deliciously nourishing for the nervous system. Blending tantric beats, psych bass, organic instruments and old school bangers, her sets invite dancers out of their heads and into their bodies. following the primal pulse, the rhythm, and whatever wants to move through. As co-founder of Wood River Ecstatic Dance, Panther Heart brings years of experience in embodiment, movement, ceremony, and facilitating altered states into the way she builds a musical journey. Her sound is sensual, percussive, hypnotic, playful, and a little (very) feral. This dance floor will be an invitation to embody and experience freedom, expression, and connection.
We’re so delighted to welcome Allyson, aka DJ Panther Heart, to Boise Ecstatic Dance for the first time! Allyson pours her heart into holding the Wood River Ecstatic Dance in Hailey, Idaho, and we’re excited to begin building a connection between our dance communities and experience the beautiful presence and space-holding gifts she brings to the floor.

7:30-8:30 PM Salsa Body Movement and Footwork at the Farm (Garden City)
Learn to connect with and understand salsa music while moving your body with confidence. Focus on isolations of the ribcage, shoulders, and hips to integrate rumba motions and mambo styling into your steps. Basic knowledge of salsa on2 fundamentals recommended.
Saturday Oct 17
3-5 PM Salsa On2 Partnerwork Intensive at IBDC (Meridian)
Take your social dancing to the next level in this extended deep dive. We spend the first hour mastering lead/follow connection, hand signals, frame, and steps, then gradually transition into more complex patterns the second hour. Basic knowledge of salsa on2 fundamentals required.
Sunday Oct 18
4-5 PM All levels Bachata Class at the Farm (Garden City)
This will be a fun, fast-paced class that offers something for all levels. The one-hour workshop will cover: (1) a crash course in the fundamentals of bachata partnerwork and body movement, and (2) a new combination to level up your style and flow on the dance floor.
5-8 PM Salsa/Bachata Social at the Farm
A special evening of social dancing featuring a performance by Frida Moses and her ladies styling team.

What’s a Silent Disco?
Instead of speakers, we provide you with a set of wireless headphones. With three different stations to choose from, you can switch between channels and dance to the music you love!
The season opens in October with the world premiere of GRACE, a new original creation by LED Directors Lauren Edson and Andrew Stensaas, featuring breathtaking contemporary dance, an original score performed live, and immersive scenic design. Set in the 1940s and inspired by the physical and emotional world of wrestling, GRACE explores the rituals we create, the rules we follow, and what happens when those rules begin to break down. Funny, fierce, and theatrical, it exists somewhere between a wrestling ring and a dinner party.
Featuring an ensemble of eight powerhouse artists from across the country, GRACE is an evening of athleticism, humor, theatricality, and raw human connection, asking what lies beneath the roles we play and how we find our way back to one another.
